This is a 28mm wide angle shot with the D7, the next image is at 200mm tele, quite a useful range. But, with the videocamera and 20x optical zoom + 4x digital you can get closer... Or with the ETX90 telescope where I can go up to 500x as compared to the wideangle. Large tele is quite fun, but it is very seldom you can find any use for it... Here we did use the videocamera as well as the telescope just to get a close look (in another gallery some test shots with the ETX90 + CP990 can be seen).
