This firework took place saturday 11th of august as a part of a national contest in fireworks (SM). During the day the Norrköping Carneval enlivened the city, but unfortunately we came to Norrköping too late to see any of the samba orchestras/dancers. However, I did find two nice hats made in Equador among the numerous marketsstands. Later in the evening the firework started, it was a nice one, not in the class of Stockholm during the millenium switchover - but who can expect/afford that?

The images in the gallery are straight from the D7 through the Minolta viewer. I had it set on 4 seconds with aperture 5.6 and cloudy white balance, for some shots I could have gone for a smaller aperture since the cores are blown out. However, I find these acceptable as a first try with the D7 on fireworks. Next time, I *will* use a tripod!
