BEMI was founded by Clas Tegenfeldt in 1995. The concept was created while at the Linkoping university. The philosophy is:
· To offer theoretical and practical know-how about electromagnetic fields in the form of lectures, courses and information.
· Measurements of electromagnetic fields in/around buildings and/or devices, with regard to electromagnetic interference between device and device as well as between device and human (health).
· Products to enable the creation of enviroments with low electromagnetic fields.
