This is what you get when you loosened the four screws and gently pried the two plastic
hinges from the scope and pulled it backwards out of the assembly. There are two
plastic hooks at the end of the plastic hinges that grip into the scope tube, be gentle
and just pull those hinges outward some (a few millimeters) and the scope tube should be
loose to pull out. This is the only step where you need to be careful.
