Here the scope is mounted on my Manfrotto 501 tripod, a very sturdy and nice tripod.
Two things to notice, first the eyepiece is mounted in astronomical position, when I use
it for landobservation (mostly birds) I mount it on a 45 degree prism on the back of
the scope to get a correctly oriented image (non-mirrored). Secondly, the small tube seen
is the telescopic sight you have on the ETX90, on the ETX125 it is made at a right angle.
What this means is that you really want to buy that accessory to avoid breaking you neck
trying to use it.
